Silicone pessary: bowl-shaped - urethral is manufactured from biologically inert medical silicone. Pessary has the shape of a bowl with an oval-shaped thickening and a large central opening. There is a thickening of oval shape on the rim of pessary for the additional support of urethra.
Bowl-shaped urethral pessary is successfully used for conservative correction of genital prolapse complicated by stress urinary incontinence.

Pessaries are not sterile when they are delivered, therefore they need to be disinfected before use.
