Silicone pessary: bowl-shaped perforated is manufactured from biologically inert medical silicone. Pessary has the shape of a bowl with a large central opening and the openings of smaller diameter in the periphery.
It is used for conservative correction of descent and prolapse of female genital organs.
An important condition for the successful use of this type of pessary is the absence of pronounced pelvic floor defects.

Pessaries are not sterile when they are delivered, therefore they need to be disinfected before use.
